Embrace the New Month: A Guide to Planning a Roadmap to Success and Self-Care

Hey Lovies!

The beginning of a new month brings new possibilities. It’s the perfect time to carve out a moment for reflection and planning. Setting aside time to map out your priorities for the month ahead can set the tone for success and growth. Take a moment to look back on the past month, celebrating your successes, acknowledging your setbacks, and embracing the lessons learned.

I’m excited to share with you my monthly planning routine, and I invite you to take what resonates with you or adapt it to fit your own needs.

Supplies:

  • Planner/journal: Having a designated space to jot down your plans and thoughts can help keep you organized and focused.

  • Vision Board: Seeing physical glimpses of what you want to become reality always helps.

Activities:

  • Work Planning/Mapping: Create a detailed plan of your goals for the forthcoming month. Jot down a list of any upcoming deadlines or projects, ensuring you’re prepared and on track for success. Add all meetings, calls, deadlines and other important dates to your calendar with reminders if necessary.

  • Personal Calendar: List all doctor’s appointments, family/friend confirmed outings, and personal commitments. Double-check your calendar for any appointments/commitments you have throughout the month that may interfere with your work calendar.

  • Bulk Grocery Shopping: Simplify your month by planning out your meals in advance. This not only saves time but also ensures you’re nourishing your body with healthy, balanced options.

  • Health & Wellness: Schedule time for any stretching, gym sessions, outdoor physical activities, or meditation. Be sure to take all vitamins and supplements. or Keep track of your commitments outside of work to maintain balance and prioritize your well-being.

  • Self-Care: Keep track of your ability to make time for YOURSELF! Whether that be through social events, spa visits, hair & nail appointments. It is important to make sure you’re always filling your cup FIRST.

Rituals:

  • List 3 personal goals: Set intentions for the month ahead by identifying three personal goals you’d like to focus on. Whether it’s learning a new skill, practicing self-care, or nurturing relationships, having clear objectives can guide your actions and decisions.

  • Block out at least 3 seclusion days: In our fast-paced world, it’s important to carve out time for solitude and reflection. Block out at least three days throughout the month where you can disconnect from distractions and recharge your mind and body.
